I purchased a T style custom mahogany guitar a couple of months ago and I continue to be more impressed every day. My son who is an expert guitar player said that it is one of the most playable guitars he’s ever picked up. It has renewed my interest and energy in trying to become the kind of guitar player I always hoped I could be.

I went into a local guitar shop to have my old guitar set up, as I browsed around I saw a awesome looking guitar from 34 Guitars, I read the card on it and was pretty much sold, my problem, i'm a lefty player so i couldn't play the guitar in the shop, I contacted Dave and asked if he could do a lefty in the spalted maple and he agreed to do it. The process was great and I let him take as long as he needed as I was in no hurry, I bought my own pickup's and changed the wood on the fretboard, I also asked him to do a couple inlay's and he agreed, he kept me up to date and sent pictures of the process and asked me questions on various things and he also gave his opinions. I met Dave to pic up my finished guitar and WOW what a great looking piece, the attention to detail and the craftsmanship is outstanding!!!!!!! I love my new guitar, it looks great and sounds awesome, it really brings me joy to play again with this great sounding piece. I could have bought a mass produced guitar for the same price and it would have been a plane Jane, but now I have a one of a kind and it's AWESOME!!!!!
I highly recommend the process with Dave if you want a custom guitar. I don't need another guitar but I will be having Dave build me another guitar in the next couple months and I can't wait.Thanks Dave for your hard work and the beautiful guitar you built.

I recently purchased one of Dave's guitars and couldn't be happier. Super playable, sounds fantastic and is a piece of art. The workmanship is incredible, from the redwood top to the maple back with inlays, not to mention the very cool fretboard and top-notch pickups. Really having a blast playing this and getting the calluses back on the old fingers. Dave is really laid-back and takes great pride in creating a guitar that you'll love. I discovered Dave’s amazing guitars while on vacation in Bellingham and I don’t recall having played a guitar that stood out to me as much in all aspects including playability, comfort, quality, and sound both unplugged and amplified.
